Issei, a high school boy turned devil, has fallen in love with the one girl he shouldn’t: a young nun named Asia. Fearing that she’s in danger from a rogue heretic, he argues with Rias, the sexy devil he serves, to save her, but ties to convince him a nun will only bring him pain.

Unable to give her up, he goes to find her and learns she has a connection with a fallen angel Issei encountered once more. Yuuma is back. They sexy angel who posed as his girlfriend to lure him to his death. She’s the reason he’s a devil.

And she has unsavory plans for Asia.

Will Issei be able to save the nun from the fallen angel? Will his fellow devils help him?

This volume really kicked up the storytelling. It did a great job building Issei and Asia’s relationship before the stakes are raised. It was a page turner with serious tension that’s a step above a lot of the manga out there these days.

The art is great, full of naughty fan service that’s a nice bonus to the compelling story. While having a large number of girls, it doesn’t seem to be going into the harem area with Issei focused a lot on Asia, though he still has naughty desires for Rias and the other sexy devil girls, the story might not go down that road fully.

All in all, it’s an exciting supernatural manga! Fans of the genre should check this out.

I give ‘High School DxD 2’ 5 of 5 cute nuns! At $6.99, this supernatural manga is one hot read!

Two of the dangerous luminals smuggled into Japan have been dealt with, but the final one still lurks. A dangerous vampire with a thirst for blood. Ms. Smith, to protect Kimihito and his harem of monster girl, arranges for a safe house. Only her definition of safe house needs… tweaking.

She delivers them to a Luminal Expo. Products are being hawked to help Luminals live in Japanese society. As the monster girls wander the convention center, the vampire has arrived to stalk her prey. The safe house is turning out to not be too safe.

A fun tale allowing the author to bring back some past characters sharing off their wares, introducing new types of monster girls of all sorts, and a story that has some stakes to it as the vampire might be a real threat to Kimihito and the girls. She’s got a thirst for blood. Can Kimihito survive?

The art is fun and there’s some naughty delights to be had. If you like harem manga and cute monster girls, check out Monster Musume!

Mii is bored. The sexy lamia monster girl discovers she’s the only one not contributing to the household. Guilted by the rest of the harem, she sets out to get a job. But what sort of job can a cute lamia get? Her tail is long, her body shaped different from humans, and nor does her large breast lactate.

What shall she do?

Will Mii is trying to find a job, three dangers luminals have been smuggled into Japan. Centora will have to be on her guard to protect Kimihito. The busty centaur is eager to serve her master and defend him from whatever dangerous monster girls lurk in the shadows.

This was a rather fun volume. Mii is my favorite, so it’s nice to get some fun with her before switching over to the main story line of the rogue luminals. What sort of trouble will they cause Kimihito this time? How much more damage can his body take?

The art and story continues to be fun and sexy. Lots of naughty delights showing up. Okayado is an author after my own heart, finding the naughty fun in all these various scenarios. If you’re a fan of cute monster girls and sexy harem fun, then you should check out Monster Musume!

After Lala’s little trick of using Zombina’s tooth to save a dying girl, the MON Squad is suspended. Feeling bad, Kimihito offers to make it up to the four cute monster girls. They, of course, want to be paid back in dates?

Can Kimihito survive dates with a doppelganger, a busty ogre, a crazy zombie, and a cute cyclops? Well, with a grim reaper in his harem, he has the ability to defy death more than anyone else. So if he can’t do it, no one can.

Each date highlights the personality of the different monster girl. From the cute and bashful Manako (cyclops girl) to the crazy Zombina, each date goes differently. Naughty antics abound, especially in the date with the busty ogre. However, Zombina continues to creep me out, even if they make creative use out of her ability to fall into pieces. She might have a cute rack, but…

Manako is my favorite, but hers was, sadly, the least naughty of them all. Not much fan service from her in this volume. But there’s plenty from the others (including some guest appearance from a pair of monster girls that haven’t been around for a while).

The story continues to be playful while hinting at something nefarious is afoot again. Another monster girl is coming to Tokyo!

I give ‘Monster Musume 10’ 4 of 5 giant ogre tits! At $6.49, this naughty manga is one hot read!

Manga Review: Monster Musume (Everyday Life with Monster Girls) 9

Monster Musume (Everyday Life with Monster Girls) 9

After the episodic adventures of part 8, this one focuses almost entirely one Mero and her mermaid people. She’s been recalled to see her mother, the queen, because someone is trying to kidnap her. Her merfolk fear that the dreaded Octo Scylla (think a sexy Ursula from The Little Mermaid) is out to kidnap her.

While the various monster girls enjoy the amenities of the five-star hotel they’re put up in (especially the eel-mermaid’s naughty massages), Octo Scylla strikes. It’s up to Kimihito and his harem of monster girls to rescue Mero, uncover why mermaids are suddenly eloping with humans, and make sure the queen will let Mero return with them.

It’s a tough adventure full of tentacles and bondage!

This was one fun, hot read. From the massages to the tentacle fun (including what happens when Shu drinks sea water). This one is packed with naughty delights. The story moves fast. The art is great. It’s full of wild passion and all the fun I’ve come to love from Monster Musume. There’s even a fun little Lala story at the end in the aftermath of the larger story.

I’m hoping we’ll get more story focused fun than the episodic nature of the last volume. I want to learn more about the monster girls we know, not ones Kimihito just meets for the day. I’m curious where part 10 will go since the Mon Squad may be in some trouble (and cyclops is so cute!)

If you like sexy monster girls, fun harem manga, and naughty delights, then you need to check out Monster Musume!

I give ‘Monster Musume 9’ 4.5 of 5 naughty tentacle fun! At $7.97, this naughty manga is one hot read!

Manga Review ‘How to Build a Dungeon: Book of the Demon King 4’

Manga Review ‘How to Build a Dungeon: Book of the Demon King 4’

Story by Warau Yakan

Art by Toshimasa Komiya

Aur has conquered the Kingdom of Figuria, but it’s not enough. He wants to rule the world. As he debates where his next move should be, the decision is taken from him. The powerful kingdom of Grandiela has declared war and marches to face him. With the king’s daughter, Yunis, one of Aur’s lovers, he hopes to use her to defeat her father.

But her father’s plans may include Yunis after all. As the armies meet up and their tactics are unleashed, both sides have surprise for the other. Will Yunis stay faithful to the demon king, or will her family win her back by breaking the enchantments upon her mind? To win this war, Aur will have to be his most ruthless.

Wow, this book was dark and brutal. Not a lot of happiness in this one as the armies square off and we learn just what it means to be a hero in this world. Yunis is one, and will her destiny make her Aur’s enemy or will her love make her his ally?

It’s an emotional book. For a harem story, the narrative has embraced the darkness nibbling around the edges. Aur is a villain threw and threw. He wants to rule the world, and he will do nothing to stop it. But is Yunis right about him?

I can’t wait to read book five. It sucks it won’t be out for nearly a year. This series is great. While this one has the least amount of naughty fun, the story dominates. The characters vie against each other as different wills clash and rebound.

I give ‘How to Build a Dungeon: Book of the Demon King 4’ 5 of 5 fallen heroes! At $12.99, this harem manga is one engaging read!

After Kimihito’s house is destroyed by his harem of monster girls, he and his lovely ladies are on vacation. While the house is fixed, their off for the summer. Only the resort they visit is suspiciously surrounded by snow. But the hot springs are warm, and they’re mixed gender!

Volume 8 has a number of “summer” stories from hot springs, to visiting the shrine holding a festival, to farming. The stories are more focused on a new monster girl than building up the ones we already know. While some of them are sexy (sheering the woolly Merita and exposing her cute body was hot), it would have been nice to get a bit more of the girls. It was a fun volume, with lots of naughty fun, and the monster girls continue to be (for the most part) sexy, but… I was eager for more stories of our core girls.

Luckily, volume 8 ends on an interesting cliffhanger that promises some nice Mero fun. In volume 7 we got to learn about our original three monster girls family, now we might be getting into the other ones. I’m excited to see where this story goes!

I give ‘Monster Musume 8’ 4 of 5 mixed-gender hot spring! At $7.68, this naughty manga is one hot read!

Kimihito’s household is in turmoil. The young man has a bevy of sexy monster girls living with him, his own little harem. Three of the girls’ hot mothers are coming for a visit. Kimihito is in for a wild time as he learns just how the various monster girls reproduce.

They are all looking for a stud, is he the one?

He’s going to have to survive a ditzy harpy, a horny lamia, and a busty centaur over the next few days, all while his harem of monster girls vie for which one he will marry. Who will Kimihito give his heart to?

The story continues to be a lot of fun and full of naughty action. The color panels at the beginning continue to be extremely naughty, this time with a depiction of how the lamia handle a man. What a hot harem scene that was. All the mothers have their own personalities that are their daughters on steroids, with twists and turns abound. The other monster girls get their moments to shine, but for the most part, this book focuses on our three main monster girls.

And it’s great.

The art is sexy and detailed. The plot is light-hearted and playful. I’m looking forward to volume 8 and their trip. I smell a Japanese summer vacation plot coming!

So if you’re a fan of sexy (monster) girls, hot art, and naughty situations, then you need to give Monster Musume series a try! It’s one fun manga!

Manga Review: How Not to Summon a Demon Lord 1

How Not to Summon a Demon Lord 1

Story by Yukiya Murasaki

Art by Naoto Fukuda

Character Design by Takahiro Tsurusaki

Takuma is one of the best of playing his MMORPG. He has gain a reputation as the Demon Lord, the most deadly player around. He reveals in his abilities, finding a place in the fictional universe that he lacks in the world world.

Then one day, every thing changes.

He awakens not in his bed, but atop an altar on a stone tower with a busty elf and a petite catgirl kissing him on the cheeks. They declare they have summoned the Demon Lord and he has to do their bidding. Only problem, the bickering Rem and Shera can’t agree on who actually summoned him. Even more unusual, for them, their enslavement ritual has backfired. They find themselves his slaves.

Not sure what to make of being summoned into his favorite video game, and awkward around girls, all Takuma can do is pretend to be the Demon Lord, to roleplay while he struggles to figure out what is going on all while perverted fantasies dance through his head.

After all, they are his slaves…

How Not to Summon a Demon Lord is a harem/litRPG manga. The art for the character is cute, with the contrast of the petite catgirl and busty elf to appeal to all comers. It has some naughty fan service in it, but is more heavily focused on introducing the world and setting. It’s starting out fairly cliché and predictable, but it has some charm to the squabbling characters, neither able to agree on who summoned him, and has potential to be a lot of fun.

Our protagonist isn’t the demon lord he pretends to be, but fakes it to deal with his social awkwardness. He’s got room to grow as they story moves on. We’re getting a hint of a goal forming, so we’ll have to see where this series goes.

All in all, it was a fun, if light-hearted read. Here’s hoping for some more naughty fun in the parts to follow!

I give ‘How Not to Summon a Demon Lord’ 4 of 5 busty elves! At $6.99, this fantasy manga is one fun read!
