At the very last moment, the trip to Japan canceled as they are about to start quarantining US travelers. Oh, well.

This week I read Magika Swordsman & Summoner 12. I am a big fan of this series. Sexy anime girls, magical battles, and harem. Our hero, Kenji, lives in a Japan were magical monsters are attacking the world. The Japanese have turned to the 108 Pillars of Solomon, a group of demons, to bond with summoners. Up until now, they have all been female.

Until Kenji.

He’s the king summoner. His naughty demon’s powers mimic others. But first, he has to bond with them. He has to increase their relationships to the point that they will bond with him. To facilitate this, he has to move into the Witche’s Castle, the most elite all-girls dorm at his magical school.

Naughty antics follow.

This manga series was what got me back into reading manga again after only keeping up with Berserk for years. I am looking forward to Part 13.

Since I consumed Magika Swordsman & Summoner, I have turned to the Ranma 1/2 manga.

My Asia figure from High School DxD arrived in the midst of the quarantine. She is such a cutie. I am glad to finally get a figure of her even if it’s not in her nun outfit.

But she’s looking gorgeous. She’ll be looking great on my shelf beside some of the other figures. During these crazy days, you got to find the simple pleasures in life.

Finished listening to The Way of Kings and on to Words of Radiance

I’m off to reading Division Maneuver Vol. 2 – Binary Heroes Light Novel. Things are getting desperate for humans. This series continues to be full of fan service and desperate battles for the survival of humanity. Things get nuts in this one.

It is a rare light novel that makes me genuinely worried that a character is going to die. Important characters. Ones that I’ll miss. I’m getting it in this one. I’m liking it a lot. I am glad those big boobs on the first novel’s cover attracted my attention.

I really like this series. It’s only two novels, but they are great. I highly recommend this one.

I started reading Welcome to Japan Ms. Elf Vol. 3. This is both an isekai and reverses isekai series. The main character, Kazuhito, has been traveling to a fantasy world that works like an MMORPG since his childhood in his dreams. Every night, he continues his adventures. One of his friends is a cute elf named Mirabella. One day while poking in a cave in the other world, the awaken a dragon.

Not happy, the dragon unleashes her flames and kill them both. Of course, for Kazuhito, when he dies in the other world, he just wakes up in his bed and will respawn the next time he falls asleep. This time, the elf girl he’s hugging wakes up with him.

Now he gets to share Japan with a cute elf girl by day, and adventure with her in a fantasy world by night! It’s a cute series with some fun action and some slice of life mixed in. Mirabella is adorable and there is a naughty MILF in this, too. But I won’t spoil who she is. 😉

I finished reading all of the Sekirei Manga this week. What a ride this story is. It has lots of harems going on as various men have groups of hot and cute women that they bond. With 108 of them, there’s plenty to go around. Musubi continues to be my favorite.

I like the ending. There’s some time spent on the wrapup and even a bonus manga that covers a bit of the time jump and gives more closure for the secondary characters.

All in all, it’s a lot of fun. I’m glad I picked it up. Fighting, great anime tits, and sexy girls abound in this series. If you get a chance, check it out in one of its incarnations!

In honor of the fourth Stormlight Archive book having a release date in November, I have started listening to The Way of Kings. at 45 hours, it’s going to keep me occupied for a while. I rather enjoy this epic fantasy series. I enjoy the magic system and the characters. If you want to really dig into a long series, this is a great one to read. Of course, we’re not even halfway through it. Brandon Sanderson said it’s 10 books, but really two five-book series.

Michael Kramer and Kate Redding bring it to life. They both are great for fantasy audiobooks.

This week at iStripper so the release of the always sexy Melena Maria Rya, who has some of the hottest cards. THis time, she’s being a naughty girl playign with her stuffed unicorn. It is one hot card. I will admit that Eva Elfie (another fav) had a hot card, too. Her NieR Automata cosplay show is naughty, but sexy Malena just edged her out.

I am busy getting ready for my Japan trip (assuming the coronavirus doesn’t cancel it) at the end of the month. My plane flight is getting emptier by the day, but my friends are committed to going! It may be a huge mistake, but we’re going to make it together!

Started writing my third fantasy series. It feels like the worst thing I’ve written. I’m like 15,000 words in and wondering if this is a mistake. If no one’s going to want to read it. The ebook market is so glutted, it’s so hard to get traction if you don’t have a fan base, and I’m second-guessing if this is the right story to even try to get one.

I started reading If It’s for My Daughter, I’d Even Defeat a Demon Lord 1 and I gave it up. Hoping for more lone wolf and cub thing, and it was way to slice of life. It’s about a guy who finds a half-starved demon girl in the woods near her father’s corpse. He takes her in and wants to help her out.

That’s fine.

But while he’s going out on his adventures, the story sticks with the girl as she helps out around the inn that he lives in…

Nearly halfway through, and there’s no conflict other than the mystery of what happened to her father and left her in the woods. That could work if there was any real tension or the story was focusing on unraveling the mystery, but I gave up when it started talking about her peeling potatoes.

So I started reading Her Majesty’s Swarm Vol 1, a Light Novel written by 616th Special Information Battalion. The Japanese are weird. And this is a play on the isekai trope. But instead of entering a fantasy world or MMORPG, our queen enters her favorite RTS (Real-Time Strategy) Game. It’s a mix of Warcraft 3 with the fantasy setting and the hero unit mechanic and Starcraft since she’s playing a zergling-like race.

No longer playing her favorite faction, she now commands them as their leader. But what she supposed to do now with her Swarm? I’m still reading this one, but I’m liking it so far. I’m curious to see where the author will take this premise.

I finished listening to The Licanius Trilogy on Audiobook! It was great to listen to this trilogy. It has a lot of visions of the future, time travel, and more, so listening to it in a row really helped to see how the story fits together better.

It is a great fantasy trilogy that gets into how can you have free will if God knows everything you’re going to do. Does that make you a slave? Just because you know how you’ll die does that make your choices meaningless? Things like that.

It’s a series that doesn’t hold your hand. You are as confused by events as the characters but you feel answers are there. And they make sense. It’s a puzzle that James Islington assembles for you over three books until it all fits together at the end.

Really satisfying ending.

Might listen to The Martian next while I figure out another long series to delve into. One of my favorite sci-fi stories. It makes a fun audiobook, too.

I don’t know if any of you have heard of iStripper, but I’m a fan. It’s a program that lets you get girls stripping and dancing around on your computer. Ellie Leen had a new card come out this week. God, she is cute AF. Definitely, my favorite card released this week, and it was a good week with some great new shows coming out.

More fun problems from Amazon! The fun of publishing with them! For some reason, my original story The Incubus’s Passions Unleashed (The Incubus’s Naughty Harem 14) has material someone else published. They kicked my book back to draft (an unpublished state) and then I have to wait hours for the automatic email to get sent and tell me what the problem is. This isn’t a big one. They just want me to proactively claim it’s all mine by republishing it.

But it’s always stressful waiting to find out this stuff. Amazon just nukes people’s publishing accounts and keep all the money you’ve made that they haven’t paid you (up to two months worth of royalties).

Oh, and my car battery was dead. Winter and not driving it much have prevailed. It jump-started find, so here’s hoping I don’t need a new battery.

On weight loss front, I am getting away from snacking. So that’s good. And I lost nearly 5 pounds this week!

In my mainstream fantasy writing, I finished editing my second fantasy series. So that’s more than a little emotional.
