Wow, first month of 2023 is down. I’ve lost 20 pounds since I got back from Japan, so dieting is working. And I’ve been reading some fun stuff.

Pandora Seven Volume 1 was great!

Props to the mangaka for making me care about the non-human characters hanging out with Lia. She is the only human girl on this island made up of the other six races. Raised by a pregnant dragon, she yearns to meet humans.

She’s going to regret that need.

When humans come to her home looking for Pandora Box, things get bad and I was invested. This was a great start to a fantasy (no an isekai but a fantasy) series.

I am looking forward to more and hope this isn’t the only one volume because volume 2 is not up for preorder.

So Manga adaptions of Light Novels can be interesting. I picked up both the manga and the light novel of Free Life Fantasy Online: Immortal Princess. I read the manga first and really enjoyed it. All about this half-Russian/half-Japanese girl and her amazing rack playing a VR MMO. She plays undead and ends up as an immortal princess.

It was fun even if there was no stakes since she’s just playing a game. But it was engrossing and even better, there were just random shots of her real body floaitng naked on the side of the panel. Just, you know, some titties to spice things up.

So I read the light novel. It followed the manga, but none of the pics inside have any nudity. That’s fine, but what was engrossing in manga was tedius as there’s in-depth item descriptions for everything and then there was a hundred pages of her just crafting and leveling her cooking skill. And I was so bored.

I also said i was done with Survival in Another World with my Mistress Light Novel. Well, I also ordered the manga which arrived after I had dropped the light novel. I decided to read it and… The sex just eluded to in the light novel (eluded so subtly I missed the first sex scene after getting bored with too my exposition in the middle of it.

Well, I decided to give the light novel another chance, and I was able to get into it thanks to the Manga fleshing out the sex scenes. It’s very PG in the light novel. Like he mentions how she his elf mistress is getting more into it and they traded offense and defense all night.

In the Manga, it shows her riding him, her big titties bouncing while he relaxed and enjoyed the view. But, I am enjoying the light novel more. It’s not nearly as boring as Free-Life. So I’m going to keep up with the Free Life manga while enjoying both manga and light novel of Survival in Another World with my Mistress.

Does a Hot Elf Live Next Door To you? Volume 5 turned out to be the finale. I think they did a good job wrapping up the main two girls. It’s a shame it didn’t go longer. I really enjoyed the antics of Inudou and Surt (Hot Elf Girl).

It was a  fun little fan service harem rom com. I liked how emotional it got. Sorry to see this one go, but I really enjoyed it. That’s just how it goes sometimes. Some of my favorite manga just abruptly end.

(Like, I didn’t even realize that Do You Love Your Mother and Her Two Hit Mulit-Attack Combo Volume 5 of the manga was the last one. It just started introducing the antagonist of the series. I failed to notice that it ended. Luckily, I had the Light Novels so it wasn’t bad, but this was an original story.

But I recommend it for a fun fan-service romcom.
